About the Project

This project presents a web-robot performing psychological text analyzis basing on its own dictionary. This site is half fun and half serious. You may use it to get brief statistical information about the contents of any text or speech. Or you may simply have fun seeing psychological characteristics of your friends or colleagues, writers, bloggers, celebrities, politicians or historic figures. There are no restrictions on what text to analyze except for the volume: the recommended size is between 3,000 and 10,000 symbols. If your text is too short it won't be analyzed - so you need to find a longer one or at least duplicate the same contents two or three times. If your text is too long it will be cut to first 10,000 symbols.

The results are shown in a form of a table where the first column represents the psychological characteristics of the the text / speech author. And the second one shows indicative words, on the basis of which the characteristics were suggested, as well as the number of times (in brackets) these words appear in the text. You will also see a list of top 20 frequent words to the right of the result table.

Actions are the first tragedy in life, words are the second. Words are perhaps the worst. Words are merciless.
